Job Description:

Come join Barry-Wehmiller Filling and Closing, part of the Barry-Wehmiller Packaging family of businesses. BWFC is looking for a talentedElectrical Assemblerwho will join our 1st shift team at our Akron, Ohio facility.

We are seeking a positive and reliable candidate able to join a team that takes pride in building high-quality, industry leading packaging systems for some of the largest food, beverage, personal care, and pharmaceutical brands in the world! We offer outstanding hands-on training provided by an onsite mentor who will provide you with the support and encouragement you need to succeed.

Shift:
Monday – Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Principal Activities & Responsibilities:

• Plan and perform a normal range of operations connected with the assembly and erection of company-produced machines.
• Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams, specifications, and work orders to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Drilling, tapping, mounting and routing wires and cable assemblies on variousmechanical/electricalstructures.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Maintain work area and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Basic Electrical Fundamentals knowledge and experience
• Multimeter knowledge and experience
• Electrical Schematic Interpretation skills

Preferred:

• Experience in a manufacturing setting
