Job Description

Wood is recruiting for an E&I Technician (Offshore) to join our Operations APAC (West) business in Perth to support one of our key clients in Oil & Gas on a major brownfields Engineering Service Contract. 
If you would like to play a key role and be part of a fast-growing offshore crew, then this could be the one for you. 
This is a casual contract on a 3:3 FIFO roster with 12-hour day or night shift.

Wood’s “Operations” APAC West business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas industry and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region’s most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

You will have:

A strong commitment to safety 
Ability to pass an offshore pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screen
Proven experience working in Oil & Gas offshore industry 
An ability to communicate well at all levels

You will be able to work lawfully in Australia and hold full working rights for this location. 

Electrical Trade Cert (Cert III/Cert IV) 
EEHA – 3-year validity
WA Electrical Workers License 
Provide First Aid – 3-year validity  
CPR/LVR – 1 year validity
BOSIET/T-BOSIET or FOET with CA-EBS (Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System)
MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card)
Escape Chute – 4-year validity
