Field Service Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: #hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries in Jakarta. You will be mainly accountable for: • Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Provides technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities • Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects/programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.) • Supporting Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.). Providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivers within budget and contract • Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensuring quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost. Improving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering and DCS application programming in pulp and paper or mining process is preferable
• Good knowledge of ABB 800xA system. Knowledge of ABB other control system, PP libraries, mineral libraries will be an added advantage
• Good understanding of automation project execution requirements and knowledge on instrumentation and control with PLC and application background will be preferred
• Good knowledge on MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and windows operating system (MS Server 2016/2019 and Windows 10)
• Knowledge on Autocad or Visio will be preferred
• Good communication skills in Bahasa and English
