The Role:
Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Programmer to help indriving efficiency and continuous improvement by providing analysis, reports and dashboards in accordance with the Global Field Services standards.

What will you do?

·Develop Standard Reports and Dashboards within core Schneider reporting systems

oAble to use alteryx or equivalent analytical tool to build required report

oAble to use tableau for visualization

·Assist in the design of future dashboards and modification of existing ones to ensure inclusion of all business specifications, and minimal disruption of critical reports.

·Assist analysts in translation of business requirements and business process, into functional system design requirements to facilitate various platform enhancements.

·Able to lead meetings to discuss output of the analysis and identify action items

·Support Training and Ad-hoc request for reporting and dashboards.

• Document projects to ensure clear technical understanding, especially in respect of maintenance and evolution.

Qualifications

Who would be successful?

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent (technical background required)

·Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.

·Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

·Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.

·Proficiency with Python, Java, C++, or Scala.

·Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.

·Knowledge of big data tools such as Amazon data flakes, Spark, Kafka, etc.

·Familiarity with data integration tools.

·Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.

·Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

·A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies.

·Familiarity with Agile frameworks.

·Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

·Understanding of service business processes is a plus.

·Ability to see the consumer perspective and act as their advocate.

·Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and convince at various levels of the organization, and in a multicultural environment

·Ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities

·Strong analytical and synthesis skills

·Initiative to uncover and solve problems proactively

·Ability to understand complex software development environments
