Contract Commissioning Engineer

Commissioning Engineer – West Yorkshire + 3 weeks Mexico – Schneider / Siemens – 6 month contract initially – Packaging Machinery – £50hr – Outside Ir35

Samuel Frank is recruiting for Commissioning Engineer to join a successful, bespoke packaging machine manufacturer based in West Yorkshire on a contract basis. The successful Commissioning Engineer must have previous experience of Schneider EcoStructure Machine Expert (formerly SoMachine)

Key aspects of the Commissioning Engineer role include;

• Schneider EcoStructure Machine Expert (SoMachine) knowledge is key.
• Multi-axis servo motion control & logic knowledge
• The schedule of works includes an initial 4-5 weeks in West Yorkshire working within the Schneider software environment on machine configuration and FATs – the machine is built, wired and nearly ready, it’s the software that needs configuring and commissioning
• The next stage will be working on a different Siemens TIA Portal project (pharmaceutical environment) – scheduled for 4-5 weeks (whilst the Schneider machine is shipped to Mexico)
• Travel to Mexico to commission the Schneider based machine – forecasted to take 3 weeks
• Company will pre-book flights & accommodation (so you won’t need to pay for and then claim back)
• Return to the UK to continue working on the Siemens projects

The office based work is easily commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Huddersfield and Halifax.
