Calibration Technician

Job Summary:
Are you looking for a great opportunity in Ichihara,Chiba? Come join our team at Emerson. We are currently looking for a Calibration Engineer. In this role you will work with Sr. Calibration Engineer at Solutions Center calibrate for our customers equipments.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• The main task will be to operate the calibration equipment for testing our company’s mass flowmeters. You will carry out a consistent process from product operation inspection to calibration to creating reports for customers.
• Products range from 1m high and 1m wide, weighing over 100kg, to palm-sized products weighing less than 10kg. For heavy products, there will be some opportunities to transport them around the factory using a hand lift or forklift. *No construction work will be required.
• Increase sales of calibration service capabilities

Who You Are:

• Experience operating a hand lifter
• General Microsoft Office skills (as tasks include spreadsheets and document creation)
• Simple experience in machine maintenance is advantage, but anyone interested in machine maintenance is also welcome
• Forklift license
• Experience in handling instrumentation equipment is also welcome!
• Beginners in English are also advantage, but being able to speak English will broaden the scope of your future work.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• High School or Bachelor of Electric automatization & Instrument, mechanical engineering, Automation　or　related engineering subjects.
• Over 3 years’ experience, mechanical equipment work experience is base, manufacturing or related field.
• Capable of describing and documenting overall trouble shooting.
• Able to understand the engineering drawings and documents
• Fluent reading & writing skills in Japanese.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Japanese, able to read and translate to English technical document.
• Good computer operation, communication skills.
• Expert in operating Microsoft Office.
• High learning capacity and good business understanding
