BMS Engineer

We have opportunities for BMS Engineers to join us at Honeywell, in the UK, within our projects and services teams. Our Projects teams focus on the delivery of assigned projects identifying value engineering opportunities. They are responsible for implementing and completing the design of projects with our customers using skills and knowledge within BMS & control systems, HVAC control, integration, and applications. Our Service teams work closely with our customers, carrying out planned preventative maintenance, re-active calls, out of hours support and commissioning of BMS systems

Key requirements

• Operate, Maintain and Interrogate Honeywell BMS Controllers & Field Control Systems carrying out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
• Modify and Interrogate BMS Software programs, strategies, and systems
• Work closely with Project Managers assisting with the production and coordination of the engineering / design submittal such as Equipment Schedule & Schematics, I/O data point List, Device / Wiring Layout Drawings and Installation/Commissioning along with development and submittal of both FAT and SAT documentation
• Continually ensure all Energy Saving measures for all Building Services are monitored and modified accordingly
• Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with our client base at varying sites

Key skills and qualifications

• Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls with knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems or commissioning and installation of such systems
• Experience in protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus
• A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments
• Ability to trouble shoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works quickly and effectively
• Great communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete reports and build strong customer relationships
