Wood is recruiting for a Junior Automation Engineer to join our Life Sciences division based in Milan, working on Pharmaceutical and Bio Tech projects across Europe and internationally.

Responsibilities
Under the guidance of Senior Colleagues you will learn how to:
Design the Automation Systems for the production Process, the HVAC and the building infrastructure
Work with the Process and Engineering Team to ensure that the Automation design is compliant with the Project needs and Client’s expectations
Keep budget and schedule under control
Coordinate the 3rd parties involved in the Automation design
Carry out the technical evaluation of Automation Suppliers’ and Contractors’ bids
Monitor the progress of the Automation Suppliers and Contractors and follow up their design
Take part in the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT’s) of the Automation systems at Suppliers’ premises
Follow up Automation construction and start-up activities at Client’s site

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronic or Electrical Engineering
Fluent in English and Italian
Demonstrated capability to work in team
Passionate about Automation and new emerging technologies
Available to work on assignment either at Clients’ sites / offices or in Wood Life Sciences offices abroad
