Specifically, you will be required to :

As part of a major carbon capture project in the UK, the student will join a team of 3 engineers in charge of developing the plant’s telecommunication systems.

His/her main tasks will be to produce the specifications required for the systems, to review the documentation for the solutions proposed by the telecoms systems supplier, and to interface with the other disciplines involved in the project.

The apprentice may also take part in hardware and software inspection tasks at the supplier’s international sites.

The apprentice will work in a multi-technology environment, IP (local and wide area networks, cybersecurity, video surveillance and access control, telephony, extended sound, hypervision, VOD), radio (wifi, TETRA, RFID, LTE) and cable (fiber optic and copper cable networks) within a structured multidisciplinary team.

During your apprenticeship, you will be accompanied by a tutor to answer any questions you may have.

Profile:

• You are at engineering school / Master’s degree in Telecommunications and networks.
• Motivated and adaptable, you are dynamic and open-minded. You are comfortable working with different cultures, people and environments.
• A good level of English is essential to be able to interact in a multicultural environment.
