You will work for the department (YPA) that focusses on manufacturing of liquid process analyzing equipment like pH and conductivity sensors. The demand for smart measuring and IIoT raises and asks for applications to contribute to the user experience.

Who is YPA?
Yokogawa Process Analyzers is the production facility that produces and develops Process Analysis sensors and equipment for pH and conductivity measurement. Quite unique about this Yokogawa location is the in-house development, production, and distribution of products to our customers via worldwide distribution channels in Europe, America, Japan, Asia, the Middle East, South America, Australia etc.

The role:

As an Application Engineer within the Development department, you develop applications for sensor development purposes and product validation in manufacturing. To improve lead-time of new products and changes of current product portfolio.

You will develop mobile responsive applications as an interface between the customer and our products. While growing in your role you will see opportunities to implement your ideas and analyze customer needs.

You see better than anyone else what we can improve in application, optimization and extending our existing systems. You identify the wishes and needs of users and stakeholders to specify them with the team and setup the requirements.

You are responsible for handling complex requests and questions from the organization. By acting and implementing new solutions for today’s challenges. To achieve a sustainable development, testing, and production environment.

The responsibilities:

Together with your colleagues, you ensure that business processes remain optimally supported. You are always ready to provide support to the production organization, but also to each other. Within the projects you have an important role in setting up and implementing applications for development and production. You are Co-responsible for recording data and processes during development processes and their project management. You Interact with lead engineers, mechanical engineers, embedded software engineers, and electronics engineers for product development.

Who are we looking for:

•Full stack developer / Application Engineer

•Bachelor/master’sdegree in computer science or related

• Experience with GitHub enterprise

• Experience with Continuous Integration (Azure or AWS)

• Experience with .Net Core and SQL Server (Windows)

• Pre experience with development (GCC C++)

• Making use of hardware interfaces as:

Ethernet APL, RS485, and GPIB

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Application Engineer

• Fluency in English and Dutch
