We have an opportunity for an Advanced Field Service (Automation Systems) to join our Building Automation team in Sines, Portugal. An Advance Field Service Engineer is responsible for leading and developing a technical team, providing technical sales support to Account Managers, and developing/optimizing the solution and architecture for a proposal. Supporting the Field Service Manager and SOL to ensure successful delivery of projects, SPOTS, and service contracts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cybersecurity and network-related issues
Implement and configure network security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs
Being the technical points of reference for the team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and resolve complex technical issues and execute projects
Define scope of deliverables for complex spot jobs (Scope description, BOM, System architecture, Labour, Assumptions and Exclusions for those assigned and coordinate with team members the timely and proper execution)

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of engineering.
Experience in IT/OT Security, Industrial Networking, and Industrial Process Control.
We value Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certifications.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform Basic system tests.
Excellent hands-on experience in Routing, Switching, Firewalls LAN/WAN and wireless networking principles and protocols including Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLAN, WLAN, Frame Relay, Firewall, DMZ, VPN, IDS.
Experience with VMware and virtualization technology.
Fluent written and spoken English or Portuguese.
