LOCATION:
Atlanta, GA
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Partner with developers, system operators, and stakeholders to define objectives and requirements, fostering a culture of teamwork and alignment.
•Develop and maintain automated solutions for CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment) to optimize the software development lifecycle.
•Utilize tools like Terraform and Ansible to manage server configurations and maintain infrastructure as code.
•Establish monitoring systems to maintain system health and performance, while implementing logging strategies to facilitate troubleshooting.
•Oversee application deployment processes, ensuring smooth operations in production environments across private and public cloud infrastructures.
•Integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle, including performing vulnerability assessments and ensuring compliance with security standards.
•Respond to outages and operational issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 4+ years of experience in DevOps or System Administration with demonstrated expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• 4+ years of experience using Terraform or Ansible for infrastructure and deploying 10+ production applications with high availability.
WE VALUE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Skilled in monitoring, logging, and resolving operational issues through root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Expertise in scripting and automation with tools like Python, Bash, or similar.
• Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of vulnerability assessments, compliance, and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate complex ideas effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
