Quality Engineer Intern

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The intern will support Grid Solutions Power Transmission Sesto Site Quality Team.
Candidate will support the assurance of quality and conformity of incoming materials and components by verifying compliance with purchasing specifications and engineering drawings.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials and components for compliance with SMS and technical drawings.
• Participate in Part Qualification (PQ) processes for new components and suppliers.
• Conduct quality control at supplier sites.
• Provide quality support to Production teams.
• Assist customers during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and inspections.
• Manage supplier non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.

Stakeholder Interaction:

• Internal: Technical, Warehouse, Production, Fulfillment, and Planning teams.
• External: Suppliers and Audit teams.

Qualifications and requirements:

• High school diploma, or technical institute
• Fluent in Italian and good in English (written and spoken).”
• Legal authorization to work in the European Union
• Working style:mandatory presence in the Unit (Sesto San Giovanni)
• Start date: ideally July
• Both active or graduated student status are accepted
