As a Lead Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, testing, and management of EPIC Integrated Avionics for our Gulfsteam customer. Integrated Avionics are complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across Aerospace. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate. Your expertise in systems engineering and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.
You will report directly to our Engineering Director and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of advanced systems, ensuring they are installed correctly, tested rigorously, and perform optimally. You will provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the design and development of advanced systems, including hardware, software, and network components
• Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects
• Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data
• Lead the deployment and configuration of systems, ensuring they are installed correctly, tested rigorously, and perform optimally
• Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving system issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring systems remain operational
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements, implement enhancements, and contribute to the optimization of operations

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership
• Comprehensive knowledge in systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
