Lead I&C Designer

This position requires a thoroughknowledge ofinstrumentation design.Youwillberesponsible fortechnicalaccuracyandquality ofinstrumentdrawings aswellas supervisionofDesigners.

Thepersoninthispositionmusthaveapositiveworkethicandhavegoodproblemsolvingandinterpersonalskills.

• Prepareaccurateandcompletedrawingsusingpracticaldesignknowledge.
• Coordinatewithotherdisciplinesandassistleadengineertoensureeffectivequalityproduct.
• Conductfieldinvestigationswhenneeded,producefieldreportswithdetailedsketches.
• Keepuptodateonnewdesignprocesses,modeling,draftingtechniques,andIMSandstandards.
• Developandrecommendimprovementsindesignstandardstolowercostandimprovework qualityandfacilitate maintenance.
• Investigateandresolveunusualdesignandfieldengineeringproblemsbydevisingnewapproachesorapplyingexistingcriteria in novel ways.
• Ensurethateffectivemethodsanddesign/engineeringtechniquesareused.
• Resolveprojectissuesandproblems.
• Providetechnicalguidancetoco-workers.
• Contributetoateamenvironmentbyaccomplishingrelatedresultsinacooperativeandsupportivemanner.
• Ensure alignment between all disciplines that are involved with 3D CAD to prepare for model reviews and issuedeliverables.

• Minimum10years’experienceinrefinery,midstream,petrochemicalorotherheavyindustries.
• In-depthknowledgeofcomputerapplicationsforinstrumentengineeringdesign.
• Demonstratedabilitytoadapttochangesintechnology.
• Abilitytointegratenewtechnologiesintodailyworkprocesses.
• Experienceworkingwithotherdisciplinesunderstandingtheirinterfacerequirements.
• Experiencewith designand/orconstructionofplantsdesirable.
• IndepthknowledgeofInstrumentationstandards,methods,andpractices.
