Junior Software Engineer

The Emerson Test & Measurement Transportation Business Unit Systems R&D team has an opening for a Junior Software Engineer! In this role, you will work in the design and development of systems from concept to release, contributing as a member of the development team while learning about the transportation domain and building your skills.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Develop and validate system software features that fulfil customer requirements
• Interact with the team to support the design and development of new systems and features
• Ability to learn and improve your skills with the help of your mentor and teammates.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong communication skills in English, both oral and written

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience in software development and systems development such us C++/C#/LabView.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Technical knowledge of NI products and platforms.
• Experience working with integrated hardware and software systems.
