Key Responsibilities:
• Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first mentality across the department, consistently leading by example.
• Customer-Focused Service: Develop and embed a customer focused service culture within the Facilities team.
• Integrating Core Values: Incorporate Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into daily operations, goal setting, and decision-making processes.
• Project Leadership: Lead critical facility projects, collaborating with the project delivery team on design requirements, system implementation, and successful handover.
• Proactive Maintenance Programs: Establish and innovate programs to drive an effective and proactive Facilities Maintenance strategy.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technology to continuously improve Facilities Services strategy.
• Technological Excellence: Evaluate new technologies and standard processes to ensure site systems and procedures are outstanding.
• Records & Documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records related to operations, human resources, maintenance, and inventory are maintained and accessible.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Interact with internal customers, contractors, and key stakeholders to address and resolve operational needs.
• Employee Development: Ensure team members receive the necessary training, mentor, and tools to be effective and support their professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Education:
• Crucial: Degree-level qualification in Engineering or Science.
Experience & Skills:
Essential:
• 5+ years of proven experience, with a focus on Facilities Management.
• Shown experience in large, interdisciplinary project design and implementation.
• Solid understanding of facilities systems from both an engineering and operational perspective.
• In-depth understanding of licenses and interactions with regulatory bodies, such as the EPA.
• Expertise in maintenance strategies and the ability to implement effective maintenance programs.
Desirable:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong internal customer focus and relationship-building abilities.
• Skilled in influencing others and driving positive outcomes.
• Project management proficiency, with experience in managing large, sophisticated initiatives.
