THIS POSITION REPORTS TO
Project Manager
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a design authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: # LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the engineering support for various automation products/systems/Drive & motor/services engineering projects in process automation/process industries in South Korea. You will be mainly accountable for: • Evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. • Providing technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities. • Assisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects. • Utilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic, automation control or a similar field
• 0 – 3 years of experience in Paper industry, working as project engineer with automation relevant products and Drive, motor or technologies
• Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools, including Basic Electrical and electronic technologies
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Intermediate in verbal and written English, and native in Korean
• Willingness and possibilities to business travel (over 50%)
