Global Lifecycle Services Team Lead.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a self-driven Software Service Engineer to join our global Digital Lifecycle Services team. This role is located in Process Industries Division at ABB Oy, Helsinki, Finland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on several interesting projects and lifecycle service tasks and activities for our customers worldwide. You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, who will support you on your journey at ABB. You will get to work on exciting digital solutions for our industrial customers, including energy management and process information systems. The role requires occasional domestic and international travelling to customer sites. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of software services, continuously improving and optimizing our software services to meet changing customer needs and industry standards. You will also participate in product testing and quality assurance to ensure the high quality of our software services. Main responsibilities: •Managing customer systems in remotely accessed Server environments •Configuring customer-specific calculations, displays, communication interfaces and reports •Conducting software testing, commissioning, documentation and troubleshooting •Communicating with B2B customers to provide training, support as well as consultation
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• Passion for industrial digitalization and energy management topics
• Previous experience with Industrial Energy Management Systems, History databases or automation systems
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. level degree in IT, Process Automation, Energy Technology or another related field
• Software development basics using C# as well as understanding of real-time and SQL databases
• HTML Web components development basics using javascript or typescript are an advantage in the role
• Good spoken and written skills in English and Finnish, as well as good communication skills are necessary in the role
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of industrial processes (power plants, metal industry, pulp & paper), as well as knowledge of industrial energy efficiency and energy economics are an advantage in this role
