Lead Discipline Engineer (I&C)

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Lead Instrument & Control with 10+ years of experience in managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, particularly within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have worked on projects for Saudi Aramco.

Job Description:

• Lead the design and implementation of hardware for specialized control systems, including DCS, PLC, SIS, and FGS, with a preference for experience in Yokogawa, Honeywell, Rockwell, Siemens, and Emerson.
• Relevant experience with wellhead facilities, including wellhead control panels, skids, and solar systems, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with major industrial standards is essential.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and clarity on working principles.
• Ability to gather information from customer specifications, including Functional Requirement Specifications, P&IDs, C&Es, drawings, narratives, and philosophies.
• Design and implement software, with expertise in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
• Conduct system testing and FAT.
• Involved in site work, including installation supervision, commissioning, and startup activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field).
• 10 + years of experience in project management, preferably within the EPC sector.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco projects is a plus.
• Ability to work independently.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in developing project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of EPC projects.
• Ability to monitor project costs and ensure alignment with financial goals.
• Experience in working with procurement teams to source materials and services.
• Proficiency in managing project changes and scope adjustments.

• Ability to lead technical teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for both internal collaboration and customer engagement.
