Site Operations Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

A position as “Commissioning Engineer” will offer complete variation and possibility to grow through learning. You will be stationed in Norway at locations Oslo/Bergen/Trondheim. Assignments stretch across ABBs business areas mentioning some as Oil & Gas (on- and offshore), Domestic Industries with hydro-power production, metals, carbon capture, hydrogen and Offshore wind. It will challenge you in subjects as hardware engineering, automation, protection and cyber security. Areas of tasks and responsibilities entails: • Loop-testing, energizing systems, function testing and putting the installation in operation with the customer • Working with PLC and protection systems • Assisting in sales and engineering tasks, pricing scopes and assisting in producing customer offers • Assisting customers in aftermarket service • Producing work packages and commissioning procedures • Installation works may occur • Training customers to operate ABBs deliveries • Large responsibility in work safety • Taking leadership, steering your site team to success and making sure we meet our customers’ expectations and on time • Join in improving learning environment for colleagues • Help improve overall processes The position offers you a lot of freedom based on your own efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• The position requires you to have most of the following qualifications:
• Education within Power Engineering (Technical college and educated skilled worker as electrician or power supply fitter, B.Sc/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Tech), other qualifications may compensate
• You have good communication skills within your organization and outwards to customers
• You understand control systems and process automation
• You have knowledge of protection philosophy and/or automation control systems
• You have experience from site
• You are precise, structured and execute high work ethics
• You speak and write English fluently
• This position requires extensive amount of travel to sites both nationally and internationally
• As a person:
• You have a high interest and passion for Power Engineering and Electronics, and an unwavering focus on your own and others safety
• You love to learn and you are creative and have an insatiable curiosity
• You compete as a team member, not an individual
• You appreciate quality and reliability, and you are highly Customer oriented and service minded
