Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Control and Instrument Engineer that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. Responsibilities

Develop specification and prepare material requisitions for control systems, instruments, control valves and all other instruments
Review Suppliers’ quotations, prepare technical quotation evaluation and recommend the final technically acceptable
Liaise with other Groups and Client as necessary
Perform control system and / or field instrument engineering and designing activities required in projects.
Prepare instrument list, IO list, range alarm and trip setting schedule including with prepare and control of instrument database
Prepare material take off within project requirement and project timeline
Performs engineering, design, specification, calculation, clarification or other technical tasks for field instruments as necessary
Advise instrument designer for cable schedule, loop diagram, hook up drawing, installation, wiring and all related to instrumentation drawings

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering or related field
1-3 years working experience in design execution for EPC business in Oil & Gas Industry or Petrochemical & Chemical Plant projects
Understand international codes and standards related to control system and instrumentation
Understand PID including able to review and comment during PID development
Able to do instrument engineering document and drawing package e.g., conceptual design, detailed engineering, instrument index, instrument data sheet including understand of cable schedule, loop diagram, hook up and installation drawings
Hard worker, well organized, proactive, high leadership, teamwork attitude and problem solving in a timely manner
Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a can – do attitude and a desire to win
Possess good interpersonal skills with excellent English communication skills
