Wood has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Technical Safety Engineer that has previous experience of working across Feasibility Studies and FEEDs, plus EPC and PMC projects. Responsibilities

Lead a team of fire protection engineers/design safety across a range of projects with key clientsCarry out fire protection/design safety scopes of work and related activities as assignedPrepare agreed fire protection/design safety deliverablesSupport and assist other disciplines across the project portfolio as requiredActively participate in design review meetings

Qualifications

Bachelor or Masters degree in Chemical engineering or equivalentMinimum of 8 years experience in Petrochemical, Refinery or Oil & Gas operationsBackground in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Risk Assessment, Design Safety or related fieldsMinimum Level I Thailand Professional Chemical Engineering LicenseRecent relevant experience in this specialist field developingFire protection philosophies and fire risk assessmentsFire protection / fire detection methodologiesDesign of fire suppression and alarm systemsReviewing fire prevention and protection standards and proceduresFirefighting equipment data sheetsExperienced in hydraulic analysis and consequence modellingKnowledge and experience of risk assessment methodology e.g. Bow Tie, HAZOP, What if, Fault Tree analysis and Event Tree etc.Dispersion modellingAlong with your technical expertise you will demonstratea proven ability to lead and coordinate a fire protection/design safety teamexcellent interpersonal and communication skillsa strong command of Thai and English, both spoken and written
