IS Service Lead Manager

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is part of our Motion (MO) Data & Analytics team supporting common Data and Analytics services for Motion and for our other Business Areas & planning to deliver the critical services using Snowflake as the main platform for Data & Analytics. The objective of the Snowflake platform is to provide a flexible and cost-efficient architecture with better insight into our business performance by providing trusted, timely, secure, easily accessible, and actionable data into the hand of our employees. As Motion IS Service Manager, you are responsible for the common Data services led by Motion IS (MI_UDM, our common operations tools and analytics services.) for our different business areas, including Motion. You design, implement, and maintain the framework to deliver the services, in scope, in time, in budget and in line with the customer’s expectations. You work closely with senior stakeholders and in particular with Relex Governance Board and Relex Application Owner, which provide global transactional and reporting services for operations management, continuous improvement and for global quality management. This role reports to our IS Service Lead Manager. The ideal candidate will be located in Poland or in India or in any of our European locations. As Service Manager, the main responsibilities will be the following: Establish inputs for service attributes and take ownership and knowledge of the service for service management; Escalate Point of Contact for Major Incidents; Attend service review meetings to facilitate service management; Improve the service in cooperation with the Continuous Service Improvement teams; Attend Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Operational Level Agreement (OLA) creation meetings; Implement the service delivery strategy and service delivery plan for assigned service(s); Manage the cooperation with key supplier(s) in daily manner, and ensure actions are taken according to the defined priorities. Ensure work is compliant with Corporate IS and any other applicable ABB Regulations and Guidelines (internal and external). Manage the service financials according to received budget, and ABB regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Master’s degree in information management, Computer System, Business Engineer or a similar field;
• +3 years of experience in Data Analytics;
• Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken);
• Some knowledge of ITIL processes, Scrum Framework and IS technology MS Stack;
• Excellent experience to figure out business requirements and how to translate into technical IS capabilities and solutions;
• Strong experience in project planning and execution as well as economic aspects of system management and life cycle;
• Proven ability to manage internal and external senior stakeholders.
