Job Description
An Auxiliary Systems Work Package Owner collaborates with Contract Administrators to generate a bid package for Auxiliary systems. The awarded contractors for their respective scope of work bid. Fire Alarm, Building Management Systems, Lightning Protection, Security & CCTV and Data Telecom are the auxiliary systems. The Work Package Owner will support contractors and the company by planning reviews and performs work requiring sound engineering judgment in the evaluation, organization, and execution of assignments. Applies diversified knowledge of construction and technical principles, practices, and methods for a range of assignments. May implement and execute construction support activities campus wide. The Auxiliary Systems Specialist will be an integral player as the “lead” for construction support activities within these disciplines.
• Support auxiliary contract and constructability that are campus wide.
• Work with Engineering during the design phase.
• Generate scopes of work relating to construction for bid packages
• Deliver and execute Auxiliary packages
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
• Organize and prioritize a variety of assignments and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
• Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to, coworkers, management, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
• Possess problem solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
• Through understanding of construction operations and support functions
• Ability to collaborate and adapt to changing conditions
• Capable of performing constructability assignments in the office(s) and/or at the site
• Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
Salary Range
84,000 to 146,000
Market Rate
The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
