Service Manager – Instrumentation

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. The work model for the role is: Hybrid LI#-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics division in Process Automation Business Area in Darra, QLD You will be mainly accountable for: •Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. •Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform. •Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. •Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Trade / degree qualified in an Electrical or Instrumentation field with current full Australian Electrical License.
• Significant experience in Instrumentation
• Experience in both maintenance and projects related work in the industrial, mining or power distribution sectors
• Experience in Service within the Water & Wastewater industry, specifically with exposure to electromagnetic flowmeters.
• Good hold on SAP, CCRP and MS Office and AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
• Ability to provide technical support and training to a wide range of ABB customers and staff
