Project Overview:

Pluto Train 2 is the expansion of a second LNG train at the existing Pluto LNG onshore facility near Karratha in Western Australia run by Woodside Energy.

Woodside Energy is Australia’s leading natural gas producer, and Bechtel is excited to be working with this key customer to help meet the increasing global demand for LNG as a transitional energy source

Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead the effort to ensure that Process Control network Cybersecurity requirements are fulfilled during the commissioning and startup of an LNG facility.

In addition, you will provide subject matter expertise in troubleshooting any TCP/IP network communication problems that arise during the commissioning/startup process, particularly when integrating vendor package skid to the main control network.

Network support will include troubleshooting both IT-grade switches and firewalls, and industrial-grade switches and firewalls, while Cybersecurity maintenance requirements to be performed and documented will include (for example): antivirus scanning, vulnerability scanning, Windows security patching, system backups, removeable media management, network monitoring, etc.

This is a FIFO role working 3:1 roster based in Karratha, WA.

Major Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot any Process Control network TCP/IP networking issues that arise during LNG facility commissioning and startup.
• Ensure periodic cybersecurity maintenance activities are performed and documented, for example antivirus scanning, vulnerability scanning, Windows security hotfix and to the application patching, system backups, removeable media management, etc.
• Maintain cybersecurity-related project documentation, performing mark-ups when necessary and coordinating with resident engineering for review and approval of changes.
• Assist in the integration and testing of vendor package skid equipment with common cybersecurity services (Windows domain, antivirus server, backup server, etc).
• Review antivirus and vulnerability scan results, coordinating with startup/commissioning leadership and back-office resident engineering if issues arise.
• Other responsibilities as designated.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience​​​​.
• Experience with one or more cybersecurity program standards (IEC/ISA 62443, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-82, ISO 27001, NEI-08-09, etc.). IEC/ISA 62443 preferred.
• GICSP, CCNP Security, Security+ CE or other equivalent cyber security certifications
• Cisco CCNA Certification (or similar) strongly desired
• Experience with industrial control equipment (PLCs, DCS, HMIs, etc)​​​​​​#LI-JC1

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Has demonstrated ability to perform cybersecurity-related maintenance activities and administration of windows systems (active directory, user, policy, and log management)
• Has demonstrated ability to perform TCP/IP network communication and firewall configuration troubleshooting and support.
• Experience implementing/reviewing cyber security related plans, policies, and procedures in a process control system.
• Communication and interpersonal skills that enables both independent and/or team approach to assigned technical work tasks.
• Ability to articulate ideas and write clear and concise documents.
• Has experience in startup/commissioning of Process Control system.
