Design Engineer-ISV Chengdu

Job Summary

Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work independently and collaboratively with our Chengdu Engineering team to design and develop high-quality valves for various applications.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Design & drawing for ball valve, actuator, and its operation system.

• Design work for the ordered product (making structural drawings and component drawings)
• Design of air piping for pneumatic actuator
• Creating a bill of materials (BOM)

You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. You handle the risk that comes with moving forward when the outcome is not certain.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams, Webex
• Experience in product design and mechanical drawing
• Background knowledge of industrial engineering (Mechanical engineering, fluid, material)
• CAD operation (AUTO CAD 2D is better)
• Communication skill: English communication

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of valve and pressure vessel
• Working experience at valve manufacturing company
• 3D CAD
• Knowledge of industrial standards (ISO, ASME, JIS, etc)
