Job Summary:

If you are a Software Test Engineer looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opportunity for you! Based in our Pune, India location, you will be a member of a collaborative product development group.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Work with the local EICP Software Test Leader. Work with cross-functional and global teams to develop and support Emerson’s pressure and temperature industrial measurement products.

Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios. Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle from requirements definition through post-release activities.

Carry out continuous improvement to the software test processes. Write & Implement Test cases, Automation in Testing for global designs to Test and contribute to maintain design quality for Emerson’s pressure and temperature industrial measurement products.

Who You Are :

You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography. You are a self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can set and achieve goals. You are interested in learning, problem solving, and collaboration. You work with other functional groups that includes Firmware Design and User Interface Software.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Having experience of 2 to 3 years in Software testing with embedded firmware systems in microcontroller-based Pressure & Temperature Transmitter products, and prototype verification

Experience of Manual and Automation testing.

Having knowledge of C, C++ or C# programming language.

Knowledge of OOPs is mandatory.

Knowledge of ISTQB standards .

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience with handling instruments like Digital Signal Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter, Resistance Substituters.
• Knowledge of Automation Test Setup development will be added advantage.
