This posting is for a Sr. Eng. Program Manager -UAS-UAM Systems based in Phoenix, AZ.

The scope of the position is to work with the UAM Director of Engineering to lead all technical activities for the Lilium project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Owns the overall system-level integration activities for UAM projects
• Works with Lead System Engineers to deliver customer required reports.
• Ensures contract deliverables (SDRL’s) are delivered on-time.
• Engages and leads internal cross-functional teams, including engineering, business management, airworthiness, customer support, quality, integrated supply chain, etc to ensure success of projects being worked.
• Regularly provides status to and coordinates approval with Honeywell’s customer.

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 15+ years of experience in system engineering and avionics
• Previous Honeywell systems experience
• Knowledge of certification regulations (Do-160, Do-178, Do-334, Do-229)
• Knowledge of certification practices
• Knowledge of system safety strategies

WE VALUE

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Epic / Apex system experience
• Anthem system experience
• Knowledge of Configuration Management tools (clear case etc.)
• Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
• Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work cohesively with several functions and teams, both internal and external.
• Self-starter who gets results and can work with limited supervision in a matrix structure
• Knowledge on Export control requirements and associated processes is a plus
