Job Description
What is theRockwell Automation University (RAU)?
The Rockwell Automation University (RAU) School of Technology is a team that serves all of Rockwell Automation by raising the competency level of hands-on technical resources.
We are looking for anSubject Matter Expert(SME) in Poland to support EMEA region where you will be the sole RAU instructor and the main point of contact within theProcess Solutions business (FactoryTalk Batch, PlantPAx etc.) and Information Software.
You will develop and deliver technical training on Rockwell Automation Process and Information Software products: FactoryTalk Batch, PlantPAx, FactoryTalk Historian, etc.
You will report to the Technical Training Delivery Supervisor, EMEA and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with RAU Delivery Leaders, Development Leaders, Program Managers, and Project Managers to understand the training needs of the partners.
• Develop training materials for eLearning, remote instructor lead, or in-classroom formats to suit the needs of technical staff through technical writing, interactive presentations, and other learning practices.
• Deliver training in a classroom or virtual classroom to achieve learning goals.
• Interact with product businesses, stakeholder businesses, and partners to develop and deploy world-class training to RA employees, partners, and customers, so they can position, deliver, and support projects.
THE ESSENTIALS – YOU WILL HAVE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related.
• Legal authorization to work within the region where you are hired (permission to stay and work in Poland).
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, domestically or internationally.
THE PREFERRED – YOU MIGHT ALSO HAVE:
• 3+ years’ experience inprocess, batch and information software application configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Passion for people training and ability to develop and deliver technical training to achieve specified learning goals.
• Ability to train and serve as a technical mentor to others through content creation and personal interaction
• Demonstrated ability to balance competing requirements and interests, with a focus on top priorities, finding opportunities to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/agreement to compromise.
• Ability to successfully work across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups and ability to write & maintain technical documentation.
• Ability to participate in customer-facing engagements as required to develop expertise in customer requirements of products, technologies, and solutions.
