Systems Engineer – SATCOM

We have an opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Brno. Are you passionate about satellite communication systems and ready for your next success story? Become part of a growing Satcom team that designs, develops, and integrates connectivity solutions.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Honeywell Aerospace products and services are used on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft. We build aircraft engines, cockpit and cabin electronics, wireless connectivity systems, mechanical components. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Management of software requirements
• Definition and maintenance of Test Cases
• Evaluation of test campaigns
• Writing of verification reports.
• Partner with software team to align on the requirement implementation, with test team to support them during test campaigns and with automation team to help defining automation priorities.

Key skills and qualifications

• University degree in engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Previous experience with software verification or quality assurance
• Experience working with software requirements, test cases or test procedures, knowledge of software/system test practices, environmental testing
• Knowledge of general RF and EMI
• Good command of English language
