Service Team Leader
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB quality and safety guidelines. Each day, you will deliver quality customer service planning and execute service work as per customer order and expectation. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring customer retention by effectively communicating service work timeline and expectations. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the Autonomous Moible Robots area in Madrigalejo del Monte, Burgos. You will be mainly accountable for: • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points. • Performing field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or onsite activity in service categories and products for which they are certified to perform • Working with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points • Troubleshooting potential equipment failures and proactively taking measures to offset/prevent and inform internal partners • Preparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities • Acting as trainer when needed, for field service associates and customers • Exceeding customer expectations by appreciating and anticipating current and potential needs, and suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• You are highly skilled in maintenance technician or engineer with industrial equipment – ideally in industrial automation or robotics
• Knowledge of electrical diagrams, field bus networks, and the ability to understand mechanical diagrams
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• A technical training degree as an electrician or skilled mechanic
• Spanish or English language a must, strongly preferred both; highly valued other European languages
• Current B (car) driving license valid in Spain and Europe and Spanish residency permission
