Software Engineer – Flight Recorders

As a Software Engineer at Honeywell, in Brno, you will participate on development of new generation of flight recorders (black boxes). Your main assignment will be split between software development, collecting requirements from stakeholders, addressing, and coordinating customer issues resolution.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementation, testing and integration of software based on structured requirements
• Following and improvement of methodologies for software development and design, improvement of coding best practices
• Convey issues with stakeholders/team and actively contribute to their timely resolution
• Make sure all goals are completed in a satisfactory manner and issues timely addressed
• Support Recorders organization in their initiatives

Key skills and qualifications

• University education in software engineering major, continuous learning expected
• Experience with programming in C/C++, Python, C#
• Experience with testing
• Ability to communicate in English language – B2 to C1 level
