We are currently seeking a Service/Commissioning Technician – Security to join our HBS Alice Springs NT team. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, your focus will be to service customer sites with a focus on EACS, CCTV and Alarm systems, to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.
Key Responsibilities:
·Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided).
·Day to day servicing and maintenance.
·Commissioning of pre-installed security equipment.
·Configuration of security systems hardware and software.
·Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems.
·Software load and configuration of Honeywell EBI / DVM Systems.
·Small to medium project installations including working with subcontractors.
·Financial control according to previously agreed budgets and plans.
·Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by Team Leader
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:
·Experience as Security Technician or Electrician, customer facing and/or similar.
·Electrical experience: – Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching.
·Commitment to customer satisfaction.
·Good communication – both verbal and written.
·Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision.
·An ability to work under pressure.
·A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
·Ability to obtain NV1.
·Valid driver’s licence.
·Ability to be on call, work a rotating roster when required.
