Position Summary:
You will be located at the Ringaskiddy site and will be part of the Make Asset Management (MAM) Group. Your main responsibility will be the development, support and maintenance of our Execution Systems (and the associated interfaces) within Janssen Sciences Ireland UC. You will also be accountable to develop and maintain the Execution System strategy and drive its execution while maintaining a good use of the current systems.
Main duties and responsibilities:
• Lead by example and strive to perform to high standards at all times in compliance with Credo and Standards of Leadership. Act as a role model for all colleagues within the Execution Systems Group and MAM.
• Manage the execution of Execution systems projects including, but not limited to, application & control system software upgrades, control system hardware upgrades, network enhancements, sensor upgrades, system implementation, recipe management, and user requirement specification development.
• Develop, maintain & control Project budgets, Capital Requirement Plans, and Department Budgets
• Proactive Trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of our systems
• Life cycle management of our Execution systems
• Business relationship management and ensuring our Execution systems are meeting business requirements
• Provision of suitable training courses and training material
• Assure the safe execution of job activities in the Execution Systems area and follow good environmental practices and procedures.
• Ensure that personal training requirements are completed in compliance with site procedures.
• Ensure that Execution systems documentation is managed, controlled, approved and reviewed in accordance with site procedures to meet business needs and production schedules
• Develop and monitor Execution Systems Department metrics/KPIs to ensure that departmental goals and targets are met.
• Drive efficiencies across the ES area, MAM function and site through suitable adoption of new technologies and enhanced approaches to how we operate (Challenge the Status Quo and drive improvement).
• Key member of the Site MAM LT; driving synergies, improvements and effective operation of our assets.
• Working with platform and CoE leads to solicit and deploy technologies, systems and sharing to improve globally.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Essential
• Third level Degree in engineering, science or an IT discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within a pharmaceutical, GMP or similar (bio)processing manufacturing environment.
Desirable
• Experience in supervision/management of people and resources
• In-depth Technical knowledge of S95 Level 1, 2 and 3 systems such as Emerson DeltaV, ABB IIT, MES PAS-X, OSI Pi, PLCs, IT Infrastructure & Hardware.
• Good understanding of S95 level 4 systems and their capabilities such as ERP, Quality Systems, Data warehouses etc… to facilitate the transition to integrated Execution Systems.
• In-depth understanding of the ISA S95 & S88 standards and how they should be used within the Global Supply Chain
• Good appreciation of Industry 4.0/IIoT and how we can effectively drive to transform within this framework
