1. Lead Instrumentation Engineer
As a Lead Instrumentation Engineer, you will take on a senior leadership role within the project team, responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Your role will encompass project management, team leadership, and client engagement, ensuring that all project deliverables are met to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead an Instrumentation Team on multidisciplinary projects
- Analyze complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions
- Assemble and manage Instrumentation packages efficiently
- Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, conducting peer reviews for quality assurance
- Engage extensively with clients, vendors, and field personnel
- Attend client meetings and participate in site visits to review and sign-off on installations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering (or similar)
- 10+ years of experience in industrial design, with advanced expertise in Instrumentation engineering services
- Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) and knowledge of industry codes and standards
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects and teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
2. Senior Instrumentation Engineer
As a Senior Instrumentation Engineer, you will apply your advanced technical expertise to key projects, focusing on designing and implementing instrumentation and control systems. You will be an integral part of the project team, collaborating with engineers across disciplines to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake detailed instrumentation and control design work, including I/O schedules, alarm schedules, and control philosophy development
- Oversee functional safety documentation, ATEX designs, and fieldbus technology (Profibus DP, Modbus RTU)
- Conduct technical reviews of vendor submittals and manage vendors/sub-contractors
- Participate in project site visits and assist in delivering design and general engineering projects
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering (or similar)
- 10+ years of experience in industrial instrumentation design, with a focus on control systems and safety specifications
- Experience with PLC/DCS systems, LV cabling design, and Autocad proficiency is a plus
- Strong technical skills combined with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to safety, quality, and ethical business practices
