This position would cover the post cast portion of the Hot Gas Path operations including welding, coating, machining, project planning, budget management to turn a cast product into a final product ready for the Gas Turbine. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working. Impacts quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team. Has significant input into priorities. Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has a high level of autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment with high levels of communication and coordination.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Organize and lead projects related to new premises, factory buildings, rehabilitation, new equipment, lay-out, renovations and optimization. Manage capital investments. Includes Advanced Manufacturing Engineers,New product introduction (NPI) and NPI Manufacturing Engineers.
• Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
• Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
• Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Will lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Developing persuasion skills required to influence others on topics within field.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 6-8 years of manufacturing experience

The base pay range for this position is $103K – $171K. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on11/22/24, or thereafter.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
