Job Description
We are searching for a Scientific Affairs Intern to join our Scientific Affairs Southeast Asia team in Thailand from January 2025. The intern must be able to commit for at least 3 months – hybrid/remote work arrangement is possible.
• Design data structure and data architecture
• Manage data, datasets, and databases
• Develop data visualization and dashboard using Power BI
• Conduct literature review related to surgery to support medical information requests, patient inquiries, reimbursement and content development
• Support preparing reimbursement dossier/ local value messages
• Develop programs and presentations for professional education and stakeholder education related to orthopedic surgery
• Generate and analyze medical insights
• Visit stakeholders and support professional education (if applicable)
• Facilitate copy review processes
• Support cross-functional omnichannel team to fulfill the digital evidence dissemination plan
What you will learn:
• Understand and learn the roles and of Digital, Data, and Analytics in the terms of Medical/Scientific Affairs
• Understand and learn the roles of Medical Advisor and/or Medical Science Liaison in the medical devices industry
• Understand and learn to manage digital and non-digital initiatives under Agile culture
• Learn and be able to apply the data-driven insights to fulfill stakeholders’ unmet needs
• Understand and learn the roles of Health Economic & Market Access function in medical devices industry
QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Medical Technology, Biomedical Engineering, or any related field
• Excellent communication skills in English – written and verbal.
• Prior research-related experience is an advantage
• Exceptional listener and communicator who effectively conveys information verbally and in-writing
• Proactive, results-driven, and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical, problem solving, sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Good knowledge of MSOffice Tools i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Learning agility, adaptability to change with a growth mindset
