Job Description
Wood is recruiting for a 9-12 month REP role onboard Solan on a 2*2*2*4 rotation.
Responsibilities
Understand & adhere to Stepback 5X5 principles in the performance of all dutiesWork to & guide through Permit SystemsPlan all work taking into account changing conditions & to reports progress accuratelyUnderstand & adhere to the Hazardous Wiring RegulationsRead & Understand detailed electrical, instrument & mechanical drawings & specifications to plan & complete task & ascertain the materials & equipment requiredInstalling, testing, repairing & commissioning electrical, instrument and cathodic protection systems. Planning the layout if wiring systemsTesting, locating & repairing of electrical malfunctionsInstalling cables connect switches, outlets, other electrical equipment & electronic control systemsSafely connecting & disconnecting electrical equipment to power suppliesCarrying out cathodic & lightning protectionAdept at trouble shooting & repairing electrical faults in equipment material, tools and equipment are fit for purpose, checked and certified prior to use.
Qualifications
Trained & Experienced in the Instrumentation fieldCapable & experienced in interpreting design drawings, installing, dismantling, troubleshooting/analysing, calibrating, modifying & commissioning all electronic Electrical switchgear & other electrical equipment such as, but not limited to: cathodic protection systems, switchgear, motor control centres, circuit breakers, electrical motors, lighting fixtures, valve operators.
