IS Technology Specialist

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the organization’s vision and strategic direction. Each day, you will apply IT knowledge and expertise to help solve complex technical or professional activities. You will also showcase your expertise by being a key resource, a definitive source of knowledge about services and solutions, to contribute your expertise to enhance organizational efficiency. The work model for the role is: This role is contributing to the IS Services in India/ Globally. You will be mainly accountable for: • Design and develop Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules to automate the deployment and configuration of infrastructure, applications, and cloud resources • Integrate Ansible with other DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to create end-to-end automation workflows • Troubleshoot and debug Ansible automation issues, and provide support to other teams using Ansible •Maintain stability of Ansible automation platform and secure the SLA of automation service • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Ansible-based solutions • Contribute to the development of Ansible best practices, standards, and reusable Ansible content • Stay up-to-date with the latest Ansible features, modules, and emerging trends in infrastructure as code and DevOps

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Certified Ansible Specialist certification
• Bachelor’s Degree in information management, computer systems or similar
• 3+ years of experience working with Ansible Automation Platform or AWX, preferably in an enterprise environment
• Proficient in writing Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules
• Hands-on experience with Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Familiar with platform engineering knowledge
• Understanding of core on premise infrastructure (Active Directory, DNS) and cloud infrastructure (Azure,AWS, GCP)
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, etc)
