Position Overview

Responsible for providing PMO support and project management leadership for Shockwave Commercial Operations projects by managing cross-functional teams to ensure projects achieve desired outcomes. Responsible for gaining cross functional alignment on project strategies, meeting project goals and ensuring that appropriate resources are identified and allocated. Responsible for ensuring the timely development and successful implementation of best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Job Functions

• Knowledge of project management methodologies including scope management, resource management, schedule management, stakeholder management and communication, budget management, and risk management.
• Experience organizing and presenting key project metrics, progress, and risks during Project Reviews.
• Establishment, organization, facilitation, and effective follow-up for cross-functional team meetings.
• Strengths in relationship building through technical know-how; able to lead SME’S through influence & credibility.
• Capable of performing under the pressure of multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative and constructive working relationship with colleagues is essential.
• Outstanding verbal & written communication skills.
• Strong presentation capabilities including ability to develop and deliver formal communications.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

• BS/BA in science, engineering or business administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Able to organize across multiple initiatives and integrate work streams into an integrated plan
• Experience in medical device projects working with cross functional teams is a plus
• Software skills: Microsoft Office, SmartSheet, SharePoint, One Drive, Outlook
• Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements
• Proficient with verbal and written communication skills

Additional Information

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $138,000 annually.
• The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

• Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year
