The Role 
Working as part of a multi-discipline team the Project Engineer will support with the development of projects through all phases of the project life cycle from basic design through to commissioning. You will be responsible for the coordination of the team to ensure the deliverables of the project are being met and on track in line with the clients exacting requirements. You will interact with the client to keep them updated on the progress of the projects ensuring they are aware of any challenges that may arise.
In addition you will be responsible for development of some deliverables that will allow you to manage directly from bidding phase up to construction completion some construction contractors or complex packages vendors.

Responsibilities

Coordinate disciplines activities and control and forecast work area activities and deliverables against schedule 
Work in coordination with procurement and subcontracting group as well as estimate department 
Prepare Erection requisition for mechanical works 
Organize, contribute and prepares notes for multidiscipline meetings to affect the timely completion of the requisition 
Contribute and participate to work in an enthusiastic manner, working to the requirements of quality and environmental management systems maintained to ISO standards 

Qualifications

Expected:

MSC degree in Chemical / Mechanical or Energy Engineering
Self-motivation, flexibility, a proactive outlook and good communication skills
Passionate about and aptitude for mentoring, training and sharing experiences with the other engineers of the team
Ability to collaborate and work closely with a multi discipline team 
Highly motivated, well organised, resourceful and proactive 
Ability to work with technical strength with the minimum of supervision 
Fluent in English and Italian 
Willingness to accept assignments across Italy and Internationally at client construction sites to be engineering interface for construction contractors
