Job Description
Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for an Operations Manager – FPU O&M to join our team on a staff role. The role could be based anywhere at our Wood office in UK.

Responsibilities
You will provide operational management for the newly deployed floating production unit; accountable for the growth, development, pre-operations and operational delivery performance for a Floating Production Unit (FPU) to ultimately be deployed within the Black Sea, Türkiye. The role will be key to supporting the development of the FPU O&M strategy to deliver the safe, reliable first gas from the facility, inclusive of full O&M provision for assets, inclusive of pre-operations assurance and asset readiness for the introduction of hydrocarbons. You will require frequent travel to Türkiye, and may be subject to rotational requirements at certain periods to meet the pre-operations and operational phases of the project. The role will be accountable for HSSEA, technical and financial performance, assuming budgetary and P&L responsibility, achieving monthly and annual targets, demonstrating clear safety and ethical leadership and embedding company values. Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and policies. The FPU Manager directs and leads operational delivery and support team(s) to deliver O&M services to the client, ensuring Wood is working to the highest possible standards of integrity, safety, quality and operational excellence. Produce solutions to strategic, contractual, technical, commercial, operational and personnel-relatedchallenges which impact on customer service and performance. Manages ongoing business, responsible for budget setting and delivery, contracts, capacity and resource management, and capability management. The role be representing the delivery a number of Wood services and capabilities, which will be provided in order to deliver a One-Wood solution to the client. Operational DeliveryOwnership of HSSEA matters across O&M provision: ensure HSSEA values are delivered and adhered to at all times, proactively leading and demonstrating safety behavioural values. Lead and focus the team to attain all HSE plans, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring legislative complianceProvides tactical direction to the operational delivery team(s) in order to meet safe, reliable first gas from the facility and ongoing operational delivery thereafterEnsures robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in placeDevelop and drive localisation plan for ultimate handover of O&M provision to client and end of contract period (2029+)Carries out significant operational administrative functions, staffing activities and managing day-to-day employee relations and operational IssuesWith direction and within set parameters, establishes annual business goals and strategies and prepares a business plan for client asset directorServes as consultant or project manager as appropriate, and representative of a One-Wood delivery solution to ensure a common approach to meet the asset needsEnsures financial, safety, and quality controls and compliance with company policiesP & L responsibility with associated commercial and financial accountability including revenue delivery, margin and overhead management, budget and forecast determination and attainment, risk and opportunity reviews, cost controls, accounts payable/billing and cash collectionMaintain operational integrity and excellence, ensuring robust governance, subcontractor management, and performance reporting.
