In this role, you will drive operational excellence to align with business objectives and lead a team to meet production, quality and delivery targets. You will manage performance metrics such as safety, waste, customer satisfaction and productivity, while optimizing resource utilization. You will operate within a strategic framework.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
• Analyze workloads and resolve correct allocation of resources to different work cells, in collaboration with supervisors, to achieve established unit goals.
• Regularly review performance indicators and make adjustments to ensure compliance and the achievement of goals.
• Conduct daily Gemba Walks within the area with cross-functional teams, addressing customer concerns of unresolved issues.
• Regularly audit the proper functioning of lines in terms of continuos improvement, 5S, safe work practices, continuous flow, completion of logs and reports, and the quality of information on level 1 dashboards.
• Proactively maintains a safe workplace by preventing accidents and illnesses, requiring the use of proper PPE, and providing ongoing safety training.
• Report results to the staff, bring up major issues, verify the work of all personnel under his/ her supervision, and ensure compliance with established procedures, standards, and policies within the quality management and human resources system.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Technical Skills:
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes (production techniques, equipment, and quality control measures).
• Understanding of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and procurement strategies.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• An approach focused on identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Soft Skills:
• Proved leadership skills to empower teams, build trust, and create a positive environment.
• Ability to make sound decisions based on data and analysis, even under pressure.
• A creative and analytical approach to identifying and resolving complex manufacturing challenges.
• Shown ability to collaborate and negotiate with diverse parties to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Ability to effectively manage organizational change and lead teams through transitions.
• Partnership by fostering collaboration and agreement among team members to achieve shared goals.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
• Bachelor’s (or Master’s) or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, and other relevant technologies, Oracle is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in implementing and optimizing Lean and Six Sigma practices for efficiency and waste reduction.
• Highly skilled in using MS Office software, including advanced Excel functions.
• Proficiency in using data analytics tools to monitor production performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication skills, both in English and Spanish, to effectively interact with various team members, including employees, management, and customers.
• Experience supervising staff, ensuring their professional development and evaluating performance.
