Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility for the management and implementation of instrumentation engineering in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of strategy to accomplish the overall objectives of the organization.
• Oversee the preparation of division/department capital and operating budgets.
• Ensure that the instrumentation team is adequately trained, equipped, and motivated to ensure that the deliverables can be delivered in a timely, and cost-effective manner.
• Coordinate and direct the activities of the instrumentation staff to ensure the reliability and availability of resources.
• Provide training, development, and leadership to plant instrumentation personnel.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or it’s equivalent in Instrument/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of twenty-five (25) years and demonstrated good engineering experience in Oil and Gas industries.
• Registered Professional Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of instrumentation design in Oil and Gas industries.
• Strong leadership and good people management skills.
• Good baseline problem analysis and solving skills.
• Creativity and an ability to think outside the box.
