Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Business Technologies. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the system’s life cycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life.
As on-site lead facilities maintenance tech you will need to lead successful maintenance program, on-site installation, servicing and repair of various equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will coordinate the development of detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions with help of SME’s. You will make improvements to training guides and documentation also assist in developing detailed life cycle plans for all on site material and equipment that Honeywell is responsible for. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field and quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You must be innovative but budget conscious and strive for customer satisfaction. Successful candidate will need to be divers and be able to do a mix of administrative, leadership and hands on tasks.
Be the face of Honeywell to the customer and interact directly with end-users, peers, and competitors Share knowledge of Honeywell solutions to enhance efficiencies and team ability.
Must be eligible to obtain Top Secret SIGNET Government clearance as well as GCP clearance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and Maintain Maintenance Plans
• Communicate with Contractors
• Negotiate optimal pricing
• Schedule contractors
• Know and Able to meet building Code requirements.
• Project coordination
• Developing system road maps
• Project oversight
• Assisting in Managing lifecycle design and deployments
• Customer interaction
• Budget/schedule responsibility
• Track meetings and provide required reporting.
• Respond to E-mails
• Provide solutions with creative thinking
• Able to perform repairs and adds independently
• Willing to be on call and work after hours upon request
• Able to perform physical tasks
YOU MUST HAVE
• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance
• Minimum of 1+ years of proven leadership and management skills
WE VALUE
• Previous technical/installation experience in building automation
• Previous technical/installation experience in building Fire and Security
• Strong knowledge, Building operations and codes
• Bilingual (French & English)
• Previous customer service experience
• Good written and oral communication
• Ability to follow instructions and identify mistakes
• Good presentation skills
• Previous exposure to a site base, construction environment
• Project management experience.
• Trade experience (Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, ETC…)
