Job Description

*** Active TS/SCI with Poly Clearance Required ***Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Work involves most of the following: installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from schematics, blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications, locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment, and using a variety of electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Secondary responsibilities installation of communications components and cabling infrastructures and other construction trades as deemed necessary.#Intel

Basic Job Requirements

• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner *These are the typical years of experience required for this job. Current Fluor employees may be considered for this position either sooner or later, depending on individual performance, potential, and job availability. This applies to all jobs across all functions

Other Job Requirements

• 10 years experience with voltages up to 13.2kV to include maintenance/troubleshooting of switchgear and breakers, be able to switch medium voltage gear via a switching plan, and perform installation of new systems (typically low voltage <600V).
• Journeyman’s License
• High School Diploma/ GED
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s License

Salary Range

57,500 to 107,500

Market Rate

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
