As a Lead Assembly Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Aerospace (AERO) business unit in Kanata. You will lead a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes and systems. Your leadership and technical skills will contribute to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Kanata location.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on our AERO business unit by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and implement best practices. Your attention to detail and ability to solve complex problems will be instrumental in meeting production targets and delivering high-quality results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team of technicians and provide technical guidance and support.

Support the supervisor in daily operation and act as a backup when needed

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing processes

• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to ensure the quality and efficiency of manufacturing processes

• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices

• Meet production targets and deliver high-quality results

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Technician or a related role

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and follow work instructions/ blueprints
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Available to work 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday.

WE VALUE

• Minimum of 1 years of experience leading a team of technicians
• Experience in coating processes within the manufacturing industry
• Experience with assembly of Analog and Digital Electronics at the circuit card level and at the system level

• Proven multitasking abilities and strong analytical skills

• Ability to influence cross-functional support when needed

• Collaboration skills and the ability to work independently

• Excellent SAP skills and comprehension
