YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Intern – Service Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in various projects that support ABB’s automation services. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed, allowing you to contribute to the success of our operations. Job Type: Part-Time Traineeship About the internship: The ABB Internship Program prepares future leaders through challenging work experiences in the automation sector. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful activities such as: • Designing, engineering, specifying, and documenting automation systems. • Developing and implementing hardware and software architectures for control systems. • Configuring and programming operator stations and controllers. • Writing functional analyses and technical specifications. • Providing technical support for the Sales team and Project Managers. You will be mainly accountable for: • Collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful execution of automation projects. • Assisting in the maintenance, commissioning, and repair of industrial automation and control systems. • Gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in an industrial IT environment. • Seeking feedback and guidance from your manager and team members to enhance your performance and skills.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
• Currently enrolled in the 3rd year of the bachelor’s degree program in Industrial Computer Science, Control, or Automatic Engineering.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Sound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing in industrial, IT, automatic, and control environments.
• Basic knowledge and experience in the IT field, including networks, domains, and cybersecurity.
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and execute tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to handle stress.
